By using MetWise Net, the subscriber agrees to the terms and conditions set forth below. Users may not assign or otherwise transfer this Agreement or the rights it conveys without the prior written consent of ENSCO, Inc, owner of MetWise Net. License Purchase of a Met Wise Net account authorizes a single subscriber to use the service. Multi-user accounts are available but cannot be purchased online. Subscriber will download a binary version of the Metwise Net software as part of the subscription service. Redistribution, retransmission, publication or commercial exploitation of Met Wise Net material is not allowed without the written permission of ENSCO, Inc. Continuous or automatic redistribution is not allowed. Subscribers must comply with any applicable U.S. export laws and regulations regarding data distribution. Disclaimer ENSCO makes no warranty, express or implied, as to the usefulness of the data for any purpose. It assumes no responsibility for the use of the data or for loss or damage to subscriber’s records or data; nor is ENSCO responsible for any outcomes resulting from use of Met Wise Net or any information accessed through MetWise Net. Subscriber acknowledges and agrees that the data and information provided are wholly advisory in nature and based upon data from various sources and may be filtered and modified. Products and appearance of products available through Met Wise Net are subject to change. This is to continually improve our service to our users. ENSCO Inc. may at any time modify these terms and conditions. Changes and modifications are effective immediately upon notification. Use of Met Wise Net after such notice indicates subscriber’s acceptance of changes. Although pilots will find MetWise Net to be a valuable resource, they are required to use weather briefings from an approved FAA source. Cancellation The MetWise Net objective is to make available the highest quality weather data in the most efficient and adaptable user interface possible while providing outstanding service. If the subscriber is dissatisfied with the MetWise Net product, subscriber may cancel the account by sending an e-mail to metwisenet@ensco.com; include subscriber’s name, user ID and reason for cancellation. If the subscription is for longer than one month, ENSCO offers a prorated refund from the date of receipt of the cancellation notice to the last day of the month that notification was sent. ENSCO reserves the right to discontinue this service at any time. Subscriber will be refunded the portion of the month that service is not provided. MetWise Net is based on software in the public domain that was developed by NOAA.
